Dermaplaning:

Dermaplaning uses a surgical blade to perform a deep exfoliation. The edge of the scalpel is used at a 45-degree angle to scrape and remove the build-up of dirt and oils in and around the skin and vellus hair  (aka peach fuzz). The vellus hair is completely removed during the process leaving skin ultra-smooth and creating the perfect base for a flawless make-up application.

As we age, our cell turnover decreases and this affects our skin texture and tone, Dermaplaning gently buffs the top layer of dead skin cells away helps to reveal a brighter and smoother complexion. Dermaplaning clears the way so skin peels, facials, skin products and serums can get down into the skin where they need to be rather than sitting on the skin’s surface. It removes peach fuzz and build up on the surface and as such creates clear channels into the skin for your products to absorb better.

What can you expect?

After eye makeup is removed the skin will be double-cleansed to create a clear canvas for treatment. Skin is then blotted and degreased using an oil-free toner. The dermaplaning procedure is methodically carried out working the whole face one area at a time. After the dermaplaning is complete we will apply a serum or moisturiser depending on skin type.
